The Academic Personnel Office (APO) supports faculty and administrators through oversight of initial appointments, promotions, merit reviews, salary and other benefits, faculty development, work-life balance programs, retirement, grievances and disciplinary matters. Our goal for UCLA is to recruit, retain and recognize the achievements of world-class faculty and researchers.

UCLA Faculty Salary Equity Study
The Joint Senate-Administration Faculty Salary Equity Committee has issued recommendations for the Senate Faculty Salary Equity Study for the General Campus. A new report has been issued for the Schools of Medicine & Dentistry. Both studies focused on analyzing salary data by gender and race/ethnicity; equity adjustments since that time are not reflected in the report.  A report on Non-Senate faculty is forthcoming.

UCLA benefits enormously from the contributions of its emeriti faculty, and it has been one of this office's highest priorities to augment and publicize the possibilities for mutual gain for emeriti.
