OUTSIDE ACTIVITY TRACKING SYSTEM (OATS)

OATS

UC OATS is a multi-campus web-based application built to facilitate the reporting and tracking of outside professional activities. It allows faculty and administrators to comply with the University of California, Office of the President (UCOP) Conflict of Commitment policies and serves as an educational tool as well. To read more about the UC OATS initiative, click here.

UCLA will implement UC OATS in a phased rollout beginning in Summer of 2019. The Academic Personnel Office will notify each School as to when faculty and department reviewers and approvers may start using the system. Until further notice, faculty should continue to submit their Category I prior approval requests and annual reports on paper.
